New Amy Winehouse Album Next Year…Maybe.

Praise the lord if this is true! Amy’s record label Island has shared the news that the long-anticipated follow up to 2006’s Back to Black may see a shelf-life in 2010!
Island Records Co-President Darcus Beese shared the following with BBC News:
“I’ve heard a couple of song demos that absolutely floored me. Hopefully we’ll have her album next year.” Beese continued that the demo sessions were written and recorded “in fits and starts”.
This is such great news to look forward to in 2010, but like the rest of the world we won’t hold our breath. In the meantime, Winehouse will release her goddaughter Dionne Bromfeld’s debut album out next week on her label Lioness Records.
Let’s hope she can get it together once and for all and make this happen, how I’ve missed that voice!
