Florence and The Machine New Single out in November

Posted by anthoNYC on October 9, 2009

If you’ve been reading TLC then you’re well aware of our enchantment with Florence Welch and her band The Machine. One of my favorite songs from the debut album Lungs is her cover of  Candi Staton’s 1986 hit You’ve Got the Love.

A few weeks ago a beautiful remix of the tune by Jamie of The Xx surfaced which had me a bit puzzled, but it all makes sense now. The song, which Florence has described as her favorite songs ever, is being released on November 16th on Digital EP, CD and 7″ single formats including remixes, acoustic versions and a b-side! Hopefully we’ll soon be treated to an accompanying music video!

Don’t miss Florence’s headlining NYC debut later this month at Bowery Ballroom!

2. You’ve Got The Love – Tom Middleton Remix
